HTC One S in India from 15 June for Rs 33,000

The HTC One S is all set to launch in India on 15 June reports Tech2.in. The phone is available on Infibeam for an advance payment of Rs 1000. The price of the phone is expected to be Rs 33,000 according to reports. The One S will compete with Samsung's Galaxy Note  which is available for Rs 30,900. So what are the specifications of the phone? It has a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display, and runs on Android latest OS  version 4.0 or the Ice-Cream Sandwich. It also has a 8MP camera with LED flash and secondary camera up front. The phone has 16GB internal memory, which is not expandable, 1 GB RAM and a dual-core processor. The non-expandable option for memory might turn off some buyers as most other smartphones within this range come with the feature. Reviews of the phone have been largely favourable, with Techradar.com calling it a brilliant phone. Endgadget concurred, saying “Sporting a thinner and lighter design, the One S doesn’t deserve to be hidden in the shadow of its pricier brother. (The HTC One X).
