HTC has announced two new smartphones. The HTC Desire 601 and the HTC Desire 300 will be available in select markets from October onwards. HTC Desire 601 is a mid-range phone offering a 4.5-inch qHD display and is powered by 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor. HTC Desire 601 will come with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating system (OS) pre-installed. Its dimensions are 134.5 x 66.7 x 9.88 mm and weighs 130gm. The phone has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and 2100mAh battery. On connectivity front, it offers LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Sense features include HTC Blinkfeed, Zoe camera suite and BoomSound and dual frontal stereo speakers. HTC Desire 300 is a low-end phone with 4.3-inch WVGA display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. The phone comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 1650 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
