HTC Butterfly S with 5-inch screen launched in Taiwan

HTC has just launched its new smartphone the Butterfly S in Taiwan. The device has a 5-inch screen with 1080 pixel display, front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers and Sense 5 UI on top of Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) It has a quad-core 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600 which is faster than the HTC One, as well as 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage, expandable through microSD. Screengrab from YouTube.[/caption] The new offering from HTC also has the 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera like the HTC one and has the features of HTC Zoe software. It also has a 2.1-megapixel wide-angle front camera. It’s currently scheduled for a release in July in Taiwan. No word on when it will be launched globally.
