Google’s Motorola Mobility unit’s new smartphone, the Moto X device could come with a dual-core processor, 2GB RAM and a 10 megapixel rear camera, according to popular tech leaks Twitter account @evleaks. You can check out the tweet below:According to Evleaks the features of the Motorola Moto X include a 1.7GHz dual-core MSM8960 Processor, 720 pixels resolution display, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space, 10 megapixel camera in rear and 2 megapixel front camera. The smartphone will run Android 4.2.2 according to the tweet. According to CEO Dennis Woodside the new phone, called the Moto X, will be built at a 500,000 square-feet facility in Texas that will employ 2,000 people. Woodside told the AllThingsD conference in Palos Verdes that he was “pretty confident in the products we’re going to be shipping in the fall.” Motorola’s engineers have also come up with processors that will help save power, he had said without elaborating. TechCrunch had reported thatthe Motorola Mobility X smartphone which bears the model number XT1058, was spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission website which didn’t reveal much other than the fact that the device supports Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11ac for WiFi and NFC and LTE bands for 4G. Previously AndroidandMe had the smartphone could have a back button with X marked on it which could be used for giving voice commands. But these are all speculations. Google’s top guns have been adding to the hype around the smartphone. CEO Larry Page told investors in an earnings call,“Having seen Motorola’s upcoming products myself, I am really excited about the potential there. In just under a year they’ve accomplished a lot and have impressive velocity and execution.” Hopefully Google’s Motorola Mobility X smartphone will live up to the hype.
