Today’s Google Doodle celebrates Christmas Eve with a simple picture. The post-card style illustration shows a winter scene, with snow all around, bare trees and two children on a sleigh. The children are in a one-horse, open sleigh. When you move the cursor over the picture, the message “Happy Holidays from Google” appears on the screen. The Google Doodle is rather simple and without all the interactive and sound elements that have come to be a part of the recent doodles. However, the classy doodle is exactly what the holidays needed and this doodle sends out the message just right. The tracker has fun games, Santa playing on the beach in Hawaii, and like last year the option for you to send weird Christmas messages to your friends and family. Check out the Santa Tracker
here. Earlier this week, Google marked the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year, with a Doodle, which showed a scarf being knitted in the Google colours and logo.
