CD Projekt Red’s Witcher 3; Wild Hunt was by far the best RPG of 2015. A sprawling open world, your ever present companion, Roach , and the rich, immersive dialogue made for a game that is extraordinary by any standard. We spent close to a few hundred hours in the original and on Hearts of Stone , replaying areas and exploring the land, but it wasn’t enough. CDPR (CD Projekt Red) has been teasing the game’s latest expansion, Blood and Wine , for a little while now and if leaks are to be believed, the expansion is set to arrive on May 27 or June 7.
Shinobi602 reported on Twitter that the game was listed on Amazon.com with a release date of May 27 for Xbox One.

WCCFTech spotted a listing for the Blood and Wine expansion, which has since been taken down, on Polish gaming site, GRYOnline (CDPR is a Polish developer, after all). The listing was in Polish, but when translated, indicates that the expansion will be arriving on June 7. This fits in well with CDPR’s assertion that the expansion would arrive in the first half of 2016.
CDPR officially describes the expansion as, “a 20-hour-plus tale that will introduce the all-new in-game region of Toussaint, will take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret.”
