Save Dan: Who knew that an infuriating celebrity could make such a fun app?

Dan Bilzerian is a poker player, a social media phenomenon and Dan ran for president in 2016. His Instagram page is a catalogue of an over-the-top lifestyle. All of this is distilled down into a blatantly sexist game, Save Dan. It never misses an opportunity to celebrate anything Dan. The backstory is that Dan calls you while you are gymming and invites you to a shooting range in Area 51, Nevada. You reach there with a truck full of classy ladies appropriately attired for the hot desert sun. There is a “radiation event”, which suddenly turns all the girls into zombies and they instantly set out to devour Dan. You must choose from an arsenal of weapons to eradicate this zombie menace and save Dan. Sadly, you can’t just eradicate Dan and be done with him.

You don’t play as Dan, just Dan’s friend. Dan is actually on screen all the time, running between beacons and activating them. These beacons are important, we guess, but we haven’t been able to figure out exactly why. You can choose from an arsenal of weapons including a flamethrower, a rail gun and a pistol that shoots poker chips. There are also barrels of explosives around, which can be used to take down a whole crowd of zombie girls. Also, headshots. The controls are dual-stick shooter and there is a radar on top to show all the radioactive zombies nearby. Crates unlock special bonuses. Dan has two useful pets, Smushball the kitten who runs around healing Dan’s wounds by licking them *shudder*, and Zeus, a goat with a special talent for goring the under-dressed undead. New areas are unlocked as you progress through the game. Save Dan is a free to play title available on the App Store and the Play Store.
