Rocket League just revealed a post game spotlight feature. This allows players to celebrate with cool moves after a match. Jumping, boosting and spinning are possible as part of post match celebrations. This just made the post game screen a lot more exciting. Understandably, the post game highlights feature only the winning team.

Regular players will spot some other additions. The titles below the cars are based on the gameplay during the match. Various aspects of the game are tracked, to give players custom titles based on their play style. There are over twenty titles that can be earned. These include “Warden” for saving more than three goals, “Prodigy” for scoring more than three goals and “Traitor” for scoring one or more own goals. Spotlight-1650x880

Apart from post match celebrations, the “Quick Chat” functionality has been substantially expanded. Quick chats are categorised according to reaction, and players can choose from a wider range of options. The new categories include information, reactions, compliments and apologies. There are post game reactions that can be mapped to quick chat controls as well. One of the most important additions is the ability to say “gg”. Other options available are “Rematch!”, “Well Played” and “Nice Moves.”
