I know it is quite frustrating that Niantic has still officially not released Pokémon Go in India, but hey, we can at least still play it. The game has been getting frequent updates and the latest one is to probably to curb the annoyance that players have with frequent spawns of Pidgey, Rattata and Zubat.
Ever since the game launched, certain Pokémon have had a higher spawn rate than others. Well, now Niantic has confirmed that it is fixing this problem, starting with Pidgey, Rattata and Zubat. According to the official Pokémon Go Twitter account , Pidgey, Rattata and Zubat will be replaced by other Pokémons. As an add on, Pidgey and Rattata will no longer hatch from eggs, while Eevee will now hatch from 5 Km eggs.

Just last week there was an announcement of special daily bonuses that will be coming to the game to make things more interesting. For instance, catching at least one Pokémon every day will give a user 500XP along with 600 stardust. Catching and adding a new Pokémon for a week straight nets you a 2,000 point bonus and 2,400 stardust. Going through a PokéStop a day gives 500XP and a bunch of additional items. If you spin PokéStops all week, you also get a chance to receive a greater number of additional items along with 2,000XP. No final date has been announced for the rollout, but I am sure it won’t take long.
I’ve been following all the latest updates on the game and I am hearing that a new tracker system, which has been under testing for a couple of months, will be rolled out soon. This will show players Pokémons that have spawned near a PokéStop along with the image of the particular spot. This will help trainers to get an idea as to where the approximate location of a Pokémon is.
If you are still among the millions of trainers still playing the game, keep an eye out for more updates over here. I will be trying my best to get all the leaks, speculations and details around the game.
