PlayStation Network is going to down for 2 hours today

PlayStation users mark your calendars, there is going to be a scheduled downtime for maintenance tomorrow, between 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM IST. The downtime was announced in a status update on the PlayStation site. The downtime is for maintenance and improvements for the PlayStation network. All PlayStation devices using the PlayStation Network, including the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita will be affected by the downtime. Apart from the essential maintenance, PlayStation is also going to use the downtime to introduce new features. The announcement noted that “Anyone who already has an account can still sign in to their PlayStation Network profile, play games, and use most applications while this maintenance is carried out. You will not be able to access Account Management, PlayStation Video, and PlayStation Store during this maintenance. We apologise for any inconvenience.” To continue playing games and to use third party services during the downtime, PlayStation recommends that you navigate to account management settings on the device on the PlayStation 4 and activate the PS4 as the primary device. PlayStation is working to reduce the downtime during the maintenance, and this schedule shows that this is not a significant maintenance period. There have been occasions when the network was down for an entire day.
