PC download charts: 'PUBG' continues to dominate sales while 'Kingdom Come: Deliverance' makes a good showing

Ambitious medieval action adventure Kingdom Come: Deliverance has shown some staying power on Steam, Humble, and with an edition free of copy-protection on GOG as its debutant Czech studio pushes out updates and fixes for the popular 13 February release. The Fanatical storefront rolled out a week-long  BundleFest promotion beginning 19 February, with new and old discount collections revealed as the week went on; come 25 February, it was the Virtual Reality bundle that was top of the site’s bestseller list. And as of Sunday, 25 February, 2018, the $29  PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has placed top of Steam’s revenue-based bestseller chart for 48 weeks in a row, starting with the week it was first released. The growth of the game’s PC playerbase had slowed dramatically even before the release of two official iOS and Android mobile siblings in China on 9 February, yet over the last week PUBG on PC added another million owners to its numbers according to SteamSpy’s data tracking service. Meanwhile, in fourth place on the Steam chart, Hunt Showdown proposed an alternate take on the PUBG ‘Battle Royale’ format, with monsters to hunt and a chase to escape with valuable bounty involved.
