The Internet Archive has uploaded over 2,000 games built for the original Amiga family of computers. The archive is available online and the games can be played within the browser itself.
The Internet Archive is hosting the games as well as an Amiga emulator to allow you to play the games from within the browser itself. You can also download the original binaries for Amiga if you have an emulator of your own.
We found gems like Bubble Bobble, Double Dragon and Lemmings, but cult classics like Dune 2 and The Secrets of Monkey Island aren’t available.
We’d also like to add that many games refused to run in our browsers (Chrome and Firefox) and those that did were sometimes sluggish. It might be a good idea to actually download the games and run them on an Amiga emulator instead.
If you don’t want to be bothered with the hassles of an emulator, head over to Atari Arcade, where dozens of Atari titles have been remastered for the web. These include Lunar Lander, Centipede, Asteroids and more.
Why not indulge in a trip down memory lane, eh?
