Here's how you can grab a free copy of 'Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon' this month

Keep your wallets in your pocket for Ubisoft is *gasp* giving away more free games, and good ones at that. Ubisoft’s thirtieth anniversary celebrations are drawing to a close, however, so be sure to take advantage of its temporary largesse while you can!

Right now, you can grab a copy of Beyond Good and Evil, but in a week’s time, the awesome 80s parody shooter, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon can be yours for the asking .

Far Cry 3 did to the Far Cry franchise what The Dark Knight did to Batman. Blood Dragon, however, was seen as a joke, an elaborate prank that Ubisoft was pulling on its users. Would you have believed Ubisoft if they said that they were working on a Far Cry game that starred a rampaging T-Rex with neon red teeth that fired lasers from its eyes? I know I didn’t.

But it wasn’t a prank. Ubisoft actually made the game, priced it perfectly (just $14 at launch) and unleashed it on the world, and it was glorious!
