GSN Games India appoints Arun Dutta as its country manager

GSN Games which makes social casino games and holds cash tournaments, announced the appointment of Arun Dutta as the country manager for India. The studio originally started out as Bash gaming and was acquired by Sony Pictures Entertainment and AT&T Entertainment Group after their breakout success in India, an app known as Bingo Bash. Arun Dutta will lead the product development and engineering teams, with a focus on acquisition of top local talent and brand building. Dutta will also oversee developing as well as maintaining a global portfolio of games. Dutta has over twenty years of experience in top leadership roles, and has worked for Danaher Corporation as well as Hewlett-Packard. Dutta’s previous appointment was as Country Head for Cornerstone OnDemand, a cloud based talent management platform for HR professionals. Commenting on his appointment, Arun Dutta said, “I am honored to lead GSN Games India, a prestigious company which is part of Sony Pictures and was built from the entrepreneurial roots of Bash Gaming. GSN Games India is a one-of-a-kind development studio in India, building games from the ground up that delight millions of players worldwide. I look forward to maximising our current opportunities, strengthening local innovations and contributing to the growth of the company.”
