Red Dead Redemption was one of Rockstar Games’ greatest games. Sadly, it only saw a console launch (PS3 and Xbox 360) and while the game was a success, one can only imagine what it would have been like on PC.
It’s been almost 6 years since the original and fans are getting restless. Thankfully, rumour has it that we’ll catch a glimpse of Red Dead Redemption 2 at E3 2016 this year.
First, someone on Reddit managed to find an image of a game that looked a lot like a Red Dead Redemption sequel. Failing that, it could also have been concept art from the game or at the very worst, a remaster of the original. The latter wouldn’t be so bad though.
The second piece of evidence is a map that was leaked on NeoGaf . The map shows a world that looks a lot like it belongs in Red Dead Redemption 2. Some netizens do suggest that the image is a fake, and it’s possible, but TechRadar says that a “reliable” source working at Rockstar Games’ has confirmed that the map is indeed from Red Dead Redemption 2.
Are we going to see a sequel to that classic? Possibly even a remake to the original? We don’t know, but we certainly hope so. Unfortunately, we very much doubt that the game will make it to PC. One can but hope.
