 "Call of Duty: Black Ops III Eclipse DLC lands on Xbox and Steam")
The second downloadable content update for Call of Duty: Black Ops III just got released on Xbox One and Steam. The update has been available on PlayStation 4 a month ahead of other platforms. The DLC is free for those who have purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops III season pass.
The update adds four new multiplayer environments. Spire is a futuristic map set high in the clouds, oriented for wall running and sniping. Knockout is an oriental Shaolin temple map that is meant for close quarter combat. Verge is good for search and destroy, and is in a post apocalyptic setting. Rift is great for CTF, and takes place in a military complex in the middle of an active volcano. All the maps have bright, contrasting colours that are good eye candy.
The Zombies game mode also has an update. The setting this time is a Japanese tropical island by the name of Zetsubou No Shima. The island hosts some kind of medical lab where unethical experiments were carried out on test subjects, with element 115.
