British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has teased a video of its new and upcoming Triumph Tiger. The company is expected to shed more light on the specifications of the bike on 7 November, the first day of the annual EICMA 2017 trade show to be held in Milan, Italy.
Currently, there are four variants of the Tiger 800 series and only one in the Tiger Explorer series.
The upcoming models that have been teased in the video are expected to bring a changes to the engine and some of the external features that are said to 'transform' the motorcycle. The video also mentions about 'triple engine' suggesting a completely revamped engine as well.
The new Triumph Tiger models will also feature a digital screen, which might be controlled by an electric button on the handlebar. The transformations will be seen in both the models of the bike internally and cosmetic.
In India, the currently available Tiger Explorer XCx is priced at Rs 18,75,000 comes with a 12 valve, in line 3-cylinder 1,215 cc liquid-cooled engine. Triumph's engine produces 139 PS of maximum power and 123 Nm of torque at 9,300 and 6,200 rpm respectively. It has a 6-speed transmission.
The Triumph Tiger 800 family's price range starts from Rs 10,87,000 (Tiger 800 XR) with the top-of-the-line variant Tiger 800 XCa priced at Rs 14,37,500 in India. As of now we cannot confirm when and which models will arrive in India. So stay tuned for more updates coming from the EICMA 2017.
