The new Kawasaki Ninja 400 comes with 399 cc parallel twin engine that produces 44 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 38 Nm torque at 8,000 rpm.

Kawasaki Ninja 400 a lighter replacement of the Ninja 300 launched at the Tokyo Motor Show 2017

Japanese motorbike manufacturer **Kawasaki** has launched it’s Ninja 400 at the Tokyo Motor Show 2017. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 will replace the Ninja 300 globally. Despite the global rollout, the company has not confirmed details about the Indian launch of Ninja 400. [caption id=“attachment_4174611” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]Kawasaki Ninja. Pixabay Kawasaki Ninja 300. Image credit: Pixabay[/caption] Ninja 400 comes with 399cc parallel twin engine that produces 44 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 38 Nm torque at 8,000 rpm as reported by Visordown. While the Ninja 300 produced 38 bhp and 27 Nm at 11,000 and 10,000 rpm respectively. The Ninja 400 weighs 6 kg less when compared to the Ninja 300. The company has packed assist-and-slipper clutch which is expected to make the lever 20 percent lighter. Kawasaki Ninja 400 features a 310 mm disc brake equipped with Nissin ABS. According to a report by Drive Spark, the bike is available in three colour variants that include Metallic Spark Black, Lime Green, and Ebony. It is expected to take on KTM RC 390, Yamaha YZF-R3, BMW G 310 R, Benelli 302R and others once the bike arrives in the Indian market as reported by Financial Express. The Kawasaki Ninja 300 has a 4-stroke parallel twin 296 cc liquid cooled engine. The bike is priced at Rs 3.64 lakh in India (Ex-showroom Delhi). Last but not the least, Kawasaki also launched Ninja 250 at the Tokyo Motor Show 2017.
