Image: Tech2[/caption] The Yaris will be made available in two petrol-engine variants — a 1.5-litre dual VVT-i variant with six-speed manual transmission and another seven-speed CVT auto variant. The Toyota Yaris sports a bold-looking design with LED projector headlamps, 15-inch alloys, LED DRLs and a number of segment-first features that set the sedan apart from its rivals. Major highlights here include the presence of seven airbags (including curtain and knee airbags), a tyre pressure monitoring system, disc brakes on all four wheels and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. Interior features on the Yaris include touchscreen navigation, faux leather seats, a dual-tone design, cruise control, a touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted media controls and gesture-based audio control, which is another segment first. The CVT variant of the Yaris will also sport paddle shifters. The inside of the sedan also features automatic climate control and a digital driver information display.
