Facebook continues with design revamp: Timeline gets more organised

Not just News Feed, but your Facebook Timeline will also get a massive design change. According to a new blog post by Facebook , the changes, which will be rolled out to all Facebook users in the next couple of weeks, are as follows: A cleaner layout We heard from you that the current timeline layout is sometimes hard to read. Starting today, all posts are on the right side of your timeline, with photos, music and other recent activity on the left. A place for things you care about Now it’s easier to organize the things you care about on your About page. Redesigned sections give you one place to add music, movies, TV shows and books that interest you, alongside your photos and friends. In essence, the left side of your timeline, will have details of all your activity from links shared or liked on apps, to new friends added, to movies/books you are reading and share on Facebook. Instagram of course gets special place and users can include their Instagram photo stream as a section on their timeline. The right side of your timeline will now have all the posts you share, including photos, status updates, links you share etc. In short this is all part of Facebook’s clutter free look that we kept hearing about during the News Feed launch.
