It added in a later update to the same report that the move was a sale and not a acquisition and that Google probably paid a ballpark sum of $35 million for the company which was ‘probably not a home run for Bump’ Bump has been downloaded more than 100 million times. AllThingsD said it had spoken to a Google spokesperson about the deal. According to its report: “The Bump team has demonstrated a strong ability to quickly build and develop products that users love, and we think they’ll be a great fit at Google,” said a Google spokesperson.
