Battle of the quad-core mobiles in India: Nexus 4, Panasonic P51, Samsung Quattro

Want a super-fast quad-core smartphone? Well thanks to the number of recent launches, you can get one in any brand and for a fairly reasonable budget. We take a look at some recent big launches in India smartphones as far as quad-core processors go. First of course: LG Google Nexus 4  for Rs 25,990 The Nexus 4 has finally come to India. The device is now available online for Rs 25,990 for a 16GB version of the device. The pricing is a little more than the expected Rs 20k than many fans would have hoped for, but remember folks this is a pure Google smartphone. So yes, updates will roll out faster. In terms of specs, the Nexus has a 4.7-inch screen with 1280×768 resolution, True HD, IPS (In Panel Switching), and an 8-megapixel autofocus camera instead of the 13 megapixel version in the Optimus G. The device has Qualcomm’s quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.5Ghz along with 2GB RAM. The phone has no Micro-sd card slot. The device supports NFC, and Bluetooth 4.0 and has an unlocked pentaband DC-HSPA+ (High Speed Packet Access which comes to 42Mbps). For Google lovers, this is a god-send and not so exorbitantly priced.
