Audi India opens showroom that lets buyers customise their cars in AR and VR

German car manufacturer Audi has become the first luxury car brand in the country to introduce cloud-based connected application service, priced at Rs 19,999. For that price, you get three years data plan, three years of cloud subscription, three years’ warranty and the Audi Concierge Service. This was announced at the inauguration of the brand’s latest dealership opening in Gurugram, called Kristan Audi. The new dealership has a 21 car display which also includes 14 pre-owned Audi cars, spread across an area of 10,500 sq. ft. Audi has also introduced Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) elements at Audi Gurugram showroom that lets the customer experience the look and feel of the Audi car being configured. The service facility in Gurugram is spread over a total area of more than 48,000 sq. ft., boasting of 33 bays, and houses exclusive, state-of-the-art body shop facilities. With the Virtual Reality solution, customers can get an extremely realistic experience of their individually configured car, down to the last detail. Our Augmented Reality lets customers view their favourite Audi car on a Digital device, in miniature form or actual size, making the Audi cars appear in their own garage or anywhere else. The Audi Shop brings a slice of Audi Life to the Audi brand enthusiasts for owning the same world-class merchandise available globally and be a part of the Audi family even before buying their favorite Audi. Showcased at the event was Audi’s first-ever pure-electric offering, the e-Tron which will be launched in India later this year. “We are proud to showcase the Audi e-tron in Delhi NCR region for the first time here as the region not only leads in luxury car sales but also in luxury trends and adapting to new technology.
