At SXSW, everyone's lining up to meet Grumpy Cat

The South by SouthWest (SXSW) festival in Austin Texas has a new star, the Grumpy Cat. The real-life cat, which has starred in so, so many memes online, is present at the festival at the Mashable booth and apparently there are crowds lining up to see the cat. According to Mashable, one fan said,  “I’ve just been following Grumpy Cat for a while now, and it makes my day."  [caption id=“attachment_655470” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  The most famous Grumpy cat meme out there right now[/caption] The cat’s real name is Tardar Sauce, she has an official Twitter account at RealGrumpyCat and an official grumpycats.com blog. The tweets and blogging are done by her owners, Bryan and Tabatha Bundesen. According to ABC news, Tabatha adopted Tard’s mother and on April 4, 2012, Grumpy Cat was born. A couple of months later, Bryan decided to put the always-mad cat on Reddit just for fun. “She was lying in my lap and she looked extremely grumpy so I decided to put it on Reddit,” Bryan told ABC News at the festival. “It went viral and I never expected it.” You can also check out this video of Grumpy cat not looking too happy with all the fans.
