Apple appears to be gearing up for the launch of the iPhone SE 4, with expectations rising for an announcement in March. The latest developments come from South Korean site AjuNews, which reports that LG Innotek will begin mass production of the phone’s camera modules this December.

The report quotes sources familiar with the matter, who note that LG Innotek typically starts manufacturing iPhone camera parts about three months before the phone’s launch. If this timeline holds true, the iPhone SE 4 could be set to make its debut in early spring.

This aligns with previous forecasts, including one from industry leaker Mark Gurman, who in October suggested that the phone would arrive sometime between March and June.

Leaks surrounding the iPhone SE 4 suggest several major improvements. The iPhone SE 4 is likely to stick with a single-lens setup for its camera. However, the performance upgrades are expected to be substantial. Rumours point to the inclusion of Apple’s powerful A17 Pro chipset and 8GB of RAM, which would deliver a considerable boost in speed and efficiency compared to the current iPhone SE model.

This would position the iPhone SE 4 as a powerful option within Apple’s budget range, appealing to consumers looking for high performance without the premium price tag.

Another notable change would be the supposed larger 6.1-inch display, a significant jump from the 4.7-inch screen found on the 2022 model.

While there’s still some debate about whether the device will feature a traditional notch or Apple’s newer Dynamic Island design, it is clear that the phone will have a more modern aesthetic.

With production details getting more concrete by the day, and previous leaks aligning with this schedule, all eyes are on March as a potential launch window for Apple’s latest affordable iPhone. As anticipation builds, the upcoming months are likely to provide more insights into what this new release will offer.
