Companies are advised and bound to report their production which they did to the government on a regular basis as part of the smartphone production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme. As any production increases it gives rise to higher exports which has been consistent this year.

Amid the imposition of US tariffs in India, the market was not affected, including the electronics sector. Higher the number of exports more will be the production which gives rise to more factories.

More factories generate jobs and give employment facilities. India became the fourth largest economy, with skilled labour force and tech savvies. With the expansion of Apple’s manufacturing network in India, the company is reducing its reliance on other export countries like China which is in an intense trade war with the US.
