Good news for Firstpost readers who use Google currents. Our feed is now live on the app. For the uninitiated, this is a prettier, Google app for RSS feeds, sort of like Flipboard. Just like in other news aggregator apps, you can choose which RSS feeds you want access to. The Google Currents app is available for Android, iOS. Quick warning our feed might not reflect in Google Currents search bar immediately. Here’s a quick link that you can access to add us to your Google Currents. Click on the link in your device and then choose to open via the Currents app. Once the link opens, you can click on subscribe to add our news feed to your other choices. Here’s are some quick tips on how to browse through our feed: 1) When you open our feed you’ll see that it’s arranged according to the different sections on the site. Top headlines from each section will be on display. You can swipe from right to left and back and forth to browse between various sections. [caption id=“attachment_438693” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/GoogleCurrents_APP.jpg "GoogleCurrents_APP") App[/caption] 2) When you click on a section in the table of contents, you’ll see our top stories from that section for the day. You can then choose to click through to whichever story you wish to read. Again swipe rather than scroll to read the entire article.  Google Currents will display at the bottom a thin line with a fast forward button at the extreme right. Clicking on that button will take you to the next article straight away. 3) On the bottom left is the menu icon. If you click on that you will see our entire table of contents where some stories from each section are highlighted. You can slide up and down for your preferences. 4) Hyperlinks inside posts will be accessible within the app. After you’re done reading a hyperlink, just click on done and you can go back the Firstpost article. Happy reading!
