A120 Canvas HD Pro leaked? Micromax says there is no such device

Yesterday there were various reports of a new device by Micromax called the A120 Canvas HD Pro, the successor to the Canvas HD. Micromax has however denied reports that it was working on any such device, according to tech2.com. According to the rumour buzz, the smartphone was stated to have a 5.5-inch full HD display, with a Cortex A7 quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and 13 megapixel rear camera with a 3.2 megapixel front-facing one. In terms of specs it would match a high-end device like the Samsung Galaxy S3 or the HTC Butterfly, except perhaps in terms of camera which is higher than either of these two devices. The rumours according to Micromax, are not true. The company however did release a new Canvas smartphone last week, the A115 Canvas 3D phone which is the company’s first 3D phone. The device has a 5 inch touchscreen runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. For all the details click here. The company also claimed that it had sold 1 million devices from its Canvas series of smartphones.
