Fp Staff •The Consumer Price inflation (CPI) edged higher to 5.76 percent, higher than the 5.52 percent estimated by the economists in a Reuter’s poll and against 5.47 percent (revised) in the last month
Inflation negative for 17th month; at (-)0.85% in March
•Continuing the deflationary trend for 17th month, WPI inflation was at (-)0.85 per cent in March but may inch up gradually in the coming months on growing pressure on food and vegetable prices.
