CIL seeks state governments consent on price pooling

State-run CIL has asked the state governments to convey their views on price pooling of coal.

CIL agrees to 40% penalty for shortfall in supply to power cos

The penalty is 40 percent of the value of fuel not supplied.There will be no penalty if Coal India supplies 80 percent or above the committed quantity of the fuel.
