Ishrat Jahan case: Pranesh Pillai's father opposes discharge plea filed by former IPS officer PP Pandey
Father of Javed Sheikh alias Pranesh Pillai, who was allegedly killed in a fake encounter along with Ishrat Jahan and two others in 2004, on Tuesday opposed the discharge application filed by former IPS officer PP Pandey.
Court which granted bail to PP Pandey and DG Vanzara in the Ishrat Jahan case noted that CBI has so far failed to throw light on the motive of the accused.
Senior Gujarat IPS officer PP Pandey, who was directed by the Supreme Court to appear before a special CBI court in Ahmedabad on Monday in connection with the Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case, was admitted in a hospital after he complained of chest pain.
