Week after drone crash, man arrested for attempting to climb White House barrier

A man has been arrested outside the White House grounds after he attempted to scale a bicycle barrier set up in front of the main fence, just a week after a small drone crashed inside the world's most protected mansion.

Investigators found more than 800 rounds of ammunition, a machete and two hatchets in the car of the former soldier accused of scaling the White House fence and sprinting inside while carrying a knife, a US prosecutor said on Monday.
