A total of 25 players and 10 team staff members have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since testing began on 23 June, the NBA confirmed in a statement on Thursday.
The 22-team NBA plan includes all teams that were holding playoff spots when the season was stopped, plus all other clubs within six games of a berth.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver said there will be no decision on ending the league’s coronavirus shutdown until May at the earliest.
