Maharashtra farmers to hold sit-in at Fadnavis' Nagpur house on 30 Nov

The Shetkari Sanghatana has decided to hold a sit-in in front of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' residence in Nagpur in Dharampeth on 30 November to press for relief to distressed farmers.

Parliamentarians seek permanent solution to deal with floods, drought

Participating in the resumed discussion in the Lok Sabha on flood and drought situation in the country, P Karunakaran said government should fully compensate farmers affected by flood and drought, besides working out a long-term solution to deal with natural calamities.
