Exit Poll result 2017: Pollsters predict comfortable victory for BJP in Gujarat, Congress to improve its 2012 tally
Fp Staff •Six out of the seven exit polls showed the BJP getting well over 100 seats in the 182-member Gujarat Assembly, way over the 92 seat majority mark. If these predictions hold true, the BJP would have fallen short of Amit Shah's famous pledge that the BJP would win 150 seats in the Gujarat Assembly, but enough to easily retain control of the state.
BJP India's richest party with declared assets worth Rs 893 crore, Congress second: Report
•The value of declared assets of BJP has increased from Rs 122.93 crore in 2004-05 to Rs 893.88 crore in 2015-16 while that of Congress has risen from Rs 167.35 crore to Rs 758.79 crore, according to the NGOs Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and Election Watch.
