Government clears telecom infra projects worth Rs 3,046 cr in Naxal areas

Emphasising its commitment to develop telecom infrastructure in naxal affected areas, Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal on Friday said the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has already cleared a proposal to set up 2,199 mobile towers in such zones.
