RBI may postpone debt switch plan to FY15: Dy Gov Khan

Under the debt switch plan of Rs 50,000 crore stated in the Budget 2013-14, the government announced a plan to buy short-dated debt, and in turn sell longer-dated bonds. This is aimed at spreading out redemptions of debt to later years.

RBI to launch first tranche of CPI-indexed bonds by Dec end

The RBI in its policy statement last month had said inflation-indexed securities for retail investors of 10-year tenor would be linked to the new (combined) consumer price index.
