Former Liverpool forward Suarez, 33, arrived in Italy on Thursday to pass his Italian language test required to receive a passport, according to media reports.
Higuain joins former Juve teammate Blaise Matuidi on the Florida squad and will play in the same league as his older brother Federico, a rival at DC United, after Juve revealed on Thursday that his contract had been terminated.
Juventus paid the 90 million euros release clause to sign Higuain from Napoli in 2016, and he had unsuccessful loans at AC Milan and Chelsea before returning to Turin last season.
