Low pressure area over Bay of Bengal triggers rain in Odisha; Met department advises fishermen not to venture into sea in parts of state
The low pressure over Bay of Bengal intensified into a depression on Tuesday triggering rains in most parts of Odisha. The depression adjoining coastal Bangladesh and West Bengal lay centred around 160 kilometres southeast of Odisha's Balasore.
At least 31 people were injured when a bus hit a lorry on NH6 due to dense fog in West Bengal's Howrah district on Friday, police said.
