Chandrayaan 3 to launch in 2030, will cost lesser than the second mission, Union Minister Jitendra Singh
He said that calling Chandrayaan 2 a disappointment was wrong since it was India's maiden attempt.
Of the additional budget, Rs 60 crore will reportedly be used towards machinery, equipment, paying salaries and so on.
He also said the launch, orbit critical manoeuvres, lander separation, de-boost and rough braking phase were a success.
The mission will feature an entirely new lander and rover, which ISRO engineers are already working on, but not an orbiter.
