Indian astronomer inspires new research into weather and atmosphere around exoplanets

Inspired by theoretical predictions made by an Indian astronomer, an international group of scientists launched a project to study clouds and weather in the atmosphere of exoplanets and brown dwarfs

Scientists identify most massive brown dwarf known, made of gas 250 times purer than the sun

It was not known if brown dwarfs could form from such primordial gas, and the finding points the way to a larger population of extremely pure brown dwarfs.
