Pakistani forces are engaged in a "tsunami of human rights violations" in Balochistan, a top Baloch leader alleged today as he sought the help of the international community including India in the Baloch nationalist movement.
Three separatist Baloch leaders, Brahamdagh Bugti, Harbiyar Marri and Banuk Karima Baloch, were booked by the Pakistan police for allegedly supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statements on Balochistan.
India has a huge opportunity to wrest the Kashmir initiative. Whether or not Modi seizes it will define his legacy.
"The dissident Baloch are our brothers. We have no intention to indulge in revenge and vengeance with them," he said during an interaction with local elders and victims of the 24 September earthquake at Awaran in Balochistan.
