Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya said 43 crore workers in the unorganised sector will soon be able to avail social security schemes with U-WIN cards.
BJP on Friday said it would use the Modi government's achievements in the economic sector and financial inclusion initiatives as an "additional weapon" to fight the coming assembly polls in five states.
The finance minister said that so far, 7.84 crore people have registered under PMSBY, 2.70 crore under PMJJBY and 4.69 lakh subscribers have joined APY.
Total assets under management of the NPS currently stands at Rs 87,000 crore and 94 lakh subscribers have already been brought under its fold.
The sources said Jaitley will also deliberate on the issue of non-performing assets (NPAs) and discuss ways to contain this.

The Union Cabinet on Wednesday gave approval to three mega social security initiatives — one pension and two insurance schemes — to be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 9 May.
The government proposes to launch PM Suraksha Bima Yojana to increase the access to insurance. It will be linked Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.
