Former BCCI president Shashank Manohar on Thursday questioned Board's decision to postpone the Annual General Body Meeting, scheduled for November 20, saying it was against the constitution of the cricket body.
The Sebi chief also asserted that the onus needs to be put more on the promoters or the top executives, rather than the companies as a whole, when it comes to penalties.<br />
The decision to defer the AGM will be in the interest of Srinivasan, who is in running to retain the post of the president and is currently debarred from discharging his duties as the head of BCCI due to court verdict.

A top BCCI official told IANS that the meeting was attended by around 20 member associations and six of them from the east zone pledged their support for Srinivasan.
