Night 1 of Wrestlemania 41 turned out to be quite the blockbuster event at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, USA with Seth 'Freakin' Rollins defeating Roman Reigns and CM Punk in their ‘Triple Threat Match’ on Saturday. Paul Heyman, who had managed Reigns and the Bloodline stable for years and was in Punk’s corner in Saturday’s main event, ended up betraying both with a couple of low-blows and in the twist of a lifetime, sided with Rollins. ‘The Visionary’ sealed his victory with a chair shot to Reigns to secure his victory by pinfall.

Night 1 also witnessed Jey Uso becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion after defeating Gunther in the opening event, forcing the ‘Ring General’ to tap out. The World Tag Team Championship match witnessed The New Day – currently comprising Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston – defeat the ‘War Raiders’ Erik and Ivar by pinfall.
And in the showdown for the Women’s Championship, Tiffany Stratton successfully defended her title against the seasoned Charlotte Flair despite the latter dominating their match for the most part, leaving the defending champion with a bruise on her forehead along with a chipped tooth.
