Rémi Gaillard is a French humorist who has accumulated quite a fan following on You Tube. According to Wikipedia, his most watched video - Mario Kart - has over 58 million views and his You Tube channel has over a billion views. His newest video is going to push that total even higher Gaillard also happens to be pretty handy with a football and to commemorate the 2014 World Cup, he has put up a video of him doing trick shots. Gaillard does a trick shot in each of the 32 team jerseys. [caption id=“attachment_1565583” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Screengrab from the video. You Tube[/caption] Some of the shots are basic while others are jaw-dropping. Tyres, shopping karts, frisbees and boats (yes, boats) all make an appearance. Gaillard isn’t above a little showboating either, often turning his back to the trick and walking off before the football finds its target. If there is a criticsm, Gaillard appears to be one-footed. He strikes the ball only with his right foot. This isn’t the first time Gaillard has put up a football video. He likes to show off his skills and even convinced the Brazilian Ronaldo to appear in one of them. Maybe after this video, he can challenge Cristiano Ronaldo to a skills contest. Now that’s a video that might challenge his Mario Kart record.
