‘We are saviours, not destroyers’: Virender Sehwag appeals to Jat agitators for peace

New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has appealed to the Jats to end their violent agitation for reservation, saying that people of the community are saviours and not destroyers.

“I appeal to all my brothers to give up violence and present their demands in a constitutional manner. We are saviours, not destroyers,” Sehwag, who is himself a Jat, tweeted.

सभी भाइयों से मेरी विनती है की हिंसा त्याग दो और जिसकी जो भी माँग हो वो संवैधानिक तरीक़े से रखो। हम रक्षक हैं, हिंसक नहीं।
