The 10th edition of the Indian Premier League will reach the 32-match mark on Friday, with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Daredevils (DD) taking on each other at the Eden Gardens.
With numerous talking points from all the matches that have taken place so far in the league, we return with another edition of Firstpost Gameplan with Ayaz Memon, aka Cricketwallah, where we analyse the matches that have taken place this week, as well as preview the upcoming ones.
Among the most discussed matches from the week's fixtures happened to be the clash between KKR and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the former's backyard. While the Knight Riders struggled their way to a below-par 131, thanks to some fine efforts by the RCB spinners, their pacers replied terrifically as they skittled the visitors out for a meagre 49, the lowest total in the history of the league.
Thursday saw the RCB sink even further when they lost to Gujarat Lions by seven wickets after getting bowled out for the second consecutive time, this time for 134. They are only marginally ahead of DD, who are at the bottom of the table at the moment, and could relegate to the bottom should DD defeat KKR today.
