We’ve seen Ronaldinho and Cristiano Ronaldo both score freekicks from under the wall — and maybe Brazilian team Ponte Preta feared that Parana’s Lucio Flavio would do the same. So, what did they do? They put nine men in the wall and asked a teammate to lie down just behind them so that the ball wouldn’t go beneath them in the net. That’s nine men standing, one lying down and a goalkeeper — which means the whole team in a wall (quite ridiculous considering they were 1-0 up). A screenshot from the video.[/caption] What’s really funny is that when the wall moved, the guy lying down on the pitch wriggled from left to right until perfection was reached. And it took a lot of time to reach. While it would have been incredibly funny if Flavio had aimed under the wall and hit the sleeping man, he simply dinked the ball over the barrier and into the net.
