English Premier League side Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has played down the extent of Wayne Rooney’s knee injury after the striker missed United’s 2-1 win over Stoke City on Tuesday. We have to wait for the scan, then we’ll know more. I hope it’s not so serious.” IANS
